Swap stories and share memories with prominent radio pioneers at this unique pre-banquet discussion group and exhibition of historical photos, first generation equipment, archival papers and other memorabilia from the personal collections of guest speakers. This moderator-led discussion group will focus on some of the more defining moments in radios past, allowing speakers and the audience to talk about the inventions of the day and how they helped shape and influence todays wireless world.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Deputy Chief (Ret.) Vincent Dunn
With the New York City Fire Department for 26 years - with a total of 42 years service - will be this year's keynote speaker. Chief Dunn is a major authority when it comes to fire fighting and prevention. He is a respected teacher, author and consultant. His expertise includes command and control, safety and survival, fire-fighting tactics, hazardous material incidents and much more. Chief Dunn will share with us how wireless communications was used and what was lacking and badly needed during the September 11th catastrophe. He has been a documented critic of the inadequate equipment needed for building safety. One of his published papers is "Why The World Trade Center Collapsed."
